Science

No hype. No miracles. Just better questions.

Our approach to evidence is simple: describe what is understood, be honest about what is not, and never let marketing outrun the research.

01

What we know

Hydration matters

Fluid and electrolyte balance is fundamental to normal body function. This is not controversial.

Caffeine affects alertness

Caffeine is one of the most studied compounds in the world, and its effect on wakefulness is well established.

Creatine is well studied

Creatine is among the most researched ingredients in sports nutrition, with a long record of use in strength and performance contexts.

Micronutrients are necessary

The body requires vitamins and minerals. Whether an individual needs supplementation depends on that individual's diet.

02

What looks promising

Creatine beyond muscle

Research into creatine's role in cognition and healthy aging is active and interesting. It is not settled, and we will describe it that way.

The gut and daily health

The relationship between the gut microbiome and broader health is one of the most active areas in nutrition science.

Compounds in green tea

Matcha contains compounds that are widely studied. Interesting is not the same as proven.

Consistency over intensity

Across most of health, the routine someone actually sustains tends to matter more than the optimal one they abandon.

03

What we are still learning

Delivery in a can

Which ingredients remain stable and effective through processing and a real shelf life is a formulation question we are actively working through.

Probiotic viability

Whether live cultures can be delivered honestly in a shelf-stable beverage is still open.

Meaningful daily amounts

Setting amounts that are useful without being excessive for daily consumption takes work, not marketing.

Taste at real doses

Functional ingredients have flavour. Solving for both is the hard part.

04

What we will never claim

That it cures or prevents disease

It does not, and we will not imply it does.

That it extends your lifespan

No beverage has demonstrated that, including this one.

That it replaces food or medicine

It is not a meal replacement and it is not medical care.

That it contains everything you need

Nothing in a can does.

The 1PEACE Science Standard

Six rules we hold ourselves to.

01

Use evidence-backed ingredients

Start from what is understood, not from what is trending.

02

Use meaningful amounts

If an ingredient is included, it should be present at an amount worth including.

03

Avoid miracle claims

No transformation language, no exaggerated wellness vocabulary.

04

Be transparent about uncertainty

Say plainly when something is still being learned.

05

Update as evidence evolves

The formulation should follow the science, not defend itself against it.

06

Taste still matters

A drink nobody enjoys delivers nothing at all.
